A lifelong Charleston attorney committed to making sure every client feels heard, supported, and fully represented.
"Hard work and openness are the focus of his practice — he is committed to making sure every client feels heard and comfortable with their representation."
For over 30 years, E. Lindsay Blanks has represented injured workers and personal injury clients throughout South Carolina. As a lifelong resident of Charleston, Mr. Blanks has devoted his entire legal career to one purpose: helping the people of this state pursue the justice they deserve.
“Hard work and openness are the focus of his practice — he is committed to making sure every client feels heard and comfortable with their representation.”
After earning a B.S. in Political Science from the College of Charleston in 1984, Mr. Blanks went on to receive his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1987 — where he contributed to the seminal legal text South Carolina Law of Torts alongside Professor Robert Felix.
Before focusing on workers’ compensation and personal injury, Mr. Blanks served as a North Charleston City Prosecutor handling DUI cases and as a Public Defender in Aiken County — giving him a uniquely well-rounded perspective that he brings to every client’s case. His dedication to the North Charleston community was recognized on December 13, 1994, when the city honored him with a “Lindsay Blanks Day.”
Mr. Blanks has prevailed in numerous jury and non-jury civil trials in Common Pleas Courts across South Carolina and has successfully litigated personal injury cases in Charleston, Dorchester, and Berkeley Counties. He is an invited speaker at South Carolina Bar seminars and has been published in the South Carolina Legal History collection on Executive Power, as well as authoring course material for the National Business Institute.
He proudly serves clients throughout Charleston, North Charleston, Summerville, Goose Creek, Ladson, Hanahan, Moncks Corner, Mt. Pleasant, and Kingstree.
When he’s not advocating for his clients, Mr. Blanks enjoys spending time with his wife, Claudette, and son, Bryant, at their home in Hanahan. An avid chess player, he is serious enough about the game to have earned the title of South Carolina Chess Champion in both 1992 and 1994.
