My Mother & I were involved in a pretty bad accident back on December 19th, 2005. Right after the accident, I contacted the Linsay Blanks lawfirm to inform them of what just happened. We ended up going to Roper emergency room to get checked out. The results showed my Mother had a broken wrist, several ribs were broken, & was in lot of pain. I was okay, just shaken up some.

Cause of the accident was a lady pulled out in front of me on a major road west ashley. She was charged with being at fault after Police had talked to several witnesses that saw the accident. The lady was insured with Allstate & we were insured by Liberty Mutual at the time.

The truck I drive a Mazda Pick-up, B 3000 model, that was close to have been totaled but was restored. The lady’s car was completely totaled. She had some injuries but they were not bad. We found out that Allstate did not want to cover all of the damages. Attorney Linday Blanks stepped right up to the plate & informed them they needed to cover these damages or we would see them in court. After many months, like 9 months, they finally agreed to pay for all the necessary damages.

Let me say this from first hand experience that Allstate is one insurance company that does not willingly pay for damages without a fight. Thank GOD, we had Lindsay Blanks & his team to fight for us. Where do I begin. I’ve known Mr. Blanks for what seems a lifetime. He was referred to me by a former co-worker during my separation from my husband at the time. He was just as she said a man with a compassion for his work but more than that, a compassion for people. On my first visit in January 1999, I was nervous and anxious to name a few of the emotions I was dealing with at that time. I was in the process of eviction, had just had major surgery (breast cancer), raising four children now on my own and to top it all off, he person who I thought would be there for me had walked out leaving no support. Needless to say, I was devastated and feeling worthless. I met with Mr. Blanks and he reassured me from the first visit, that things were going to be OK. He did not sugar coat it, it was going to be an uphill battle, but one I could win. I knew then I had someone on my side, who would fight for me and my children. There were times when I felt like giving up, but because of his determination and the person he was and still remains today, he did not let me give up. It took several years of reaching to finally get to the place where we went to court and sought judgement against my husband. Well, as a pattern, he of course did not comply with the ruling and so I find myself again having to go back to court on more than one occasion. I failed to mention that Mr.Blanks, knowing my financial state took me on as a client, based on the recommendation of his client, my former co-worker. I can not begin to tell you how relieving that was to me at a time when I was not working and funds were very slim. I will never be able to put into words what that meant to me.
